Soft Baked Eggs

An easy way to fix a dozen eggs for breakfast. It's so simple and absolutely delicious!!
- Servings: 4 - 6
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 1 cup (or more) shredded monterey jack cheese
- 12 eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- salt and pepper
- fresh basil, chopped
Directions
In a skillet, brown sausage. Spread browned sausage on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and crack eggs on top. Pour heavy cream evenly over the eggs and sprinkle with a dash of salt and pepper. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven before eggs are set, because they will continue to cook. Sprinkle with basil, and serve.
