Easy and Delicious!! Once you try this recipe, I think that you'll agree with me that this one is a keeper!
- Prep Time:
- Servings: 5-6 servings
Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed strawberries
- 3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 lb. roast (chuck, sirloin tip, etc. - can do a pork roast as well!)
Directions
Place your roast in a crockpot (It can be frozen or thawed). Blend the first seven ingredients together until smooth. Pour the strawberry glaze over the roast, cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Shred the roast and submerge in the juices, then cover and bake for thirty minutes longer. Enjoy!!
* The original recipe says to sear the roast first, but I have found that the roast still turns out quite juicy and delicious without this step!
** The secret to a great grassfed roast every time is to cook it LOW & SLOW!!!
