Chicken Liver Pate
Enjoy your liver pate with veggies, on toast, or just plain!

Ingredients

  • (3 T.) Butter
  • (1#) Chicken Livers
  • (1 bunch) Green Onions
  • (1 clove) Garlic
  • (1/2 t.) Dry Mustard
  • (1 T.) Lemon Juice
  • (1/4 t.) Dried Dill
  • (1/4 t.) Dried Rosemary
  • (1/4 C.) Butter, softened
  • (To taste) Sea Salt

Directions

  1. Melt butter in skillet.
  2. Add livers and onions, and cook, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes, until livers are browned.
  3. Add garlic, mustard, lemon juice, and herbs.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook, uncovered, until liquid is gone.
  5. Allow to cool.
  6. Blend till smooth in food processor with softened butter.
  7. Season to taste.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
