These pigs are raised on pasture without any vaccines, antibiotics, or hormones. They were fed mostly organic chemical free feed, but there was a very small amount of non-gmo corn included in their ration for a short period of time that would have been sprayed (but not with glyphosate), so I want to be upfront about that.With that being said, they are still about the cleanest pork that you can find! We hope to have future batches fully chemical free in the future.
Tim uses a processor in Indiana called This Old Farm that has a reputation for high quality processing. Their seasonings and curing, while not certified organic, are as natural as possible and do not have any MSG, nitrate, or nitrite in them.
